Arsenal have overseen a perfect start to the 2022 Premier League season, winning their opening three matches for the first time since 2005.

The Premier League club has become one of the most exciting teams, with most of their new signings making instant impacts, including Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus, who has scored two and assisted three goals so far.

The Gunners, who have made some exciting signings in Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fábio Vieira, Marquinhos, Matt Turner, and the in-form Jesus, are still unsatisfied with their squad depth.

Despite earning all nine points in three games against Crystal Palace, Leicester City, and Bournemouth, Arsenal's manager, Mikel Arteta, has refused to be carried away by his team's success and has stated that his team would sign more players before the transfer window closes.

"We will try till the end. "We would want to do something else," said Arteta when asked about being active in the transfer market after Arsenal's 3-0 victory against Bournemouth.

Though they have produced some excellent performances in recent weeks, Mikel Arteta has been pressing to add a central midfielder to his squad depth, with the club's captain, Granit Xhaka, the only player available for the position.

Arsenal are said to have identified Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans as the ideal candidate and have enquired about him.

Tielemans is one of the Premier League's few talented midfielders, having demonstrated his exceptional talent since joining Leicester City in 2019. Arsenal are expected to bid for the player in the coming days as they seek to complete the deal before the transfer window closes.

Despite Arsenal's interest, Leicester City are determined to keep Tielemans, with manager Brendan Rodgers highlighting his importance in his squad.

Tielemans has played in all three of Leicester City's Premier League games this season as the club attempts to fend off Arsenal's interest.

Arteta also hopes to add a winger to his squad after losing out on former Leeds United player Raphinha to Barcelona. The Gunners have turned their attention to Wolverhampton Wanderers' Portuguese player, Pedro Neto, as an alternative. They are expected to make a bid for the 22-year-old in the coming days, having been in talks with the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, for over a month.

The Portuguese star, who has made 95 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League, has been a key part of the Wolves' squad since his arrival from Braga and could be a great addition to the Arsenal team.

With these players on Arsenal's list, they are expected to secure some acquisitions before the transfer window closes in nine days.
