Before Myle Lewis-Skelly, Marcus Rashford was England's youngest goalscoring debutant for almost 10 years. Rashford made his senior debut for the national team in a friendly against Australia at the Riverside Stadium on May 27, 2016, at the age of 18 years and 209 days.
The Manchester United academy graduate scored the first of the game with a deft strike bursting through thethe opponents goal from a Sterling assist.
This goal obliterated the record Tommy Lawton had held for almost eighty years. Apart from getting him a call-up for the European Championship in 2016, Rashford's development marked the start of his remarkable international career. By 2025, he had scored sixteen goals for England, three of which were crucial during the 2022 World Cup, and he had made almost fifty appearances for the squad.
3. Tommy Lawton (19y 16d, born Oct 6, 1919)
Tommy Lawton is one of the most remarkable attackers in English football's history. At 19 years and 16 days, Lawton debuted for the national squad in a game against Wales at Cardiff on October 22, 1938, scoring a penalty to prove his extraordinary aerial and shooting skills.
Although World War II interrupted his career, Lauton scored 22 goals in 23 national team games, attesting to an amazing degree of efficiency. England supporters still show tremendous respect today for his skills and achievements.
4. Dixie Dean (19y 353d, born Jan 22, 1907)

At the age of 19 years and 361 days, Finney made his national team debut, scoring in a 7-2 triumph over Northern Ireland in Belfast on September 28, 1946. He proved to be quite gifted in all-around performance and scoring.
Though he served during World War II, his greatness remained unchanged. At club level, Finney scored 210 goals and 30 goals in 76 international games. Thanks to his modesty and skill, he is among the most respected players in English football history.
